Design Evaluation
AMT Systems Inc has established itself as primarily a
design-build firm, and is staffed, equipped, educated
and experienced to serve the client base that requires
that commitment to an overall project.
We also recognize and serve the needs of customers who
have reached a design plateau in a project and require
an un-biased fresh look at proposed and documented information
to review the accuracy, practicality, integration, and
user-friendliness of a design prior to moving forward.
AMT affiliation with consultants and designers nation-wide
presents opportunities for these reviews to the benefit
of owners, architects, construction trades, and end-users.
Successful installations may require complexity in action,
but must provide simplicity in operation. AMT Systems

Value Engineering
AMT Systems Inc years of practical experience in not only
the design of systems, but in their day-to-day operation
as well, plays an invaluable role in our ability to assist
in value engineering systems with a focus on retention
of system function and features while providing cost-saving
alternatives to resolve budget issues.
Audio/Video Systems Design
AMT Systems Inc views systems design as the most critical
part of a project. AMT’s experience and success
in design projects is due in no small part to our ability
to translate a theoretical set of guidelines for function
and features into a practical, user-friendly operational
system. Simply put, AMT sales and engineering personnel
listen well. We spend the time to understand what a client
wants and needs before we begin a design so the end product
will meet those requirements as well as meeting a budget.
Our design team includes staff engineers well versed in
AutoCAD, EASE, CADP2, and other computer-based tools used
to establish, define, refine and complete system details,
including single line drawings, conduit risers, rack elevations,
HVAC loads, AC power requirements, and more.
Audio/Video System Upgrades
There are many fine audio and video systems in operation
throughout the country. However, the dramatic and ongoing
improvements in technology driving this industry provide
opportunities to make a good system better with the addition
of new or improved equipment, or with additional features
to make system operation simpler and easier, especially
for non-technical users. AMT Systems recognizes both the
opportunity this presents and the integrity required to
provide options for upgrades that are fiscally sound as
well as technologically appropriate.
System Maintenance and Repair
AMT Systems supports a full-time service department, staffed
by qualified technicians well versed in trouble-shooting,
problem analysis and repair, and preventative maintenance
measures. They are backed by our in-house engineering
staff when required. We recommend and provide preventative
maintenance contracts that include regularly scheduled
visits throughout the year as well as emergency response.
In systems installed by AMT, we serve as an agent of the
manufacturer in relation to all component parts warranty
repair work for the duration of the manufacturer's warranty.
Further, AMT provides extended warranty and repair services
with virtually all the current industry manufacturers
through our service department.

Glen
Glancy, President
Mr. Glancy has spent over thirty-seven years in the audio
industry. His background is in audio and video production,
direct to disc, direct digital and multi- track audio recording,
as well as extensive experience in music mastering for CD
production. In addition, Mr. Glancy is expert in the fields
of sound reinforcement and video design work with an emphasis
on cost effectiveness without system compromise.
Tim
Carlson, Executive VP
Mr. Carlson is responsible for implementation of the internal
design and engineering procedures. The engineering team
generates all submittals, shop drawings, internal construction
drawings and “as built” documentation. Mr. Carlson’s
project emphasis is on worship and performance spaces with
project experience from large-scale sports venues to intimate
worship environments. Mr. Carlson’s background also
includes over ten years of operating and installing systems
for a number of large scale projects. Mr. Carlson has an
extensive knowledge of digital mixing consoles, digital
signal processors and computer modeling software.
Bill
Lightner, VP Sales
Mr. Lightner’s background qualifications include broadcast
production for radio, location recording, sound reinforcement,
and over twenty years in music mastering for consumer release.
Mr. Lightner is a keyboard musician, and he is responsible
for coordinating the design and development of audio/video
systems. He has directed the sales engineering staff at
AMT since 1995.
Jack
Worth, VP Production
Mr. Worth’s expertise is in mechanical design and
construction, systems installation, and construction coordination.
Mr. Worth is a highly respected expert in the required interface
with Architects, General and Electrical Contractors. A proficient
mechanical installer and designer, Mr. Worth’s background
includes over twenty years of mechanical and welding design,
as well as seventeen years in audio design and installation
work. Mr. Worth is the AMT Systems Production Manager and
is responsible for installations and on-site coordination
of all activities related to systems completion.
John
Glancy, Director of Engineering
Mr. Glancy has over fifteen years experience in audio and
video design/installation. His project emphasis is on system
integration using complex computer and proprietary control.
Mr. Glancy’s vast project history includes executive
boardrooms, hotel ballrooms, council chambers, themed entertainment,
and religious facilities. His background also includes designing,
programming and installing fully customized touch-screen
information access solutions, live and archived streaming
audio and video, and audio/video conferencing. Mr. Glancy
is fully certified in industry standards in regards to computer
networks and control systems.
